About i-write

i-write translation and text services have been established by Irene Venditti in 2006. With more than twenty years of experience in the field of documentary information and ICT, she has developed into an all-round translator and text writer.
Due to her longtime experience working for an educational publisher, she has become an expert in the area of digital publishing. Besides the development of web applications, one of her tasks was writing online help texts, manuals and webtexts for these applications. Writing was second nature to her, that is why, in the end, she decided to start working as an independent translator and writer.

Specialized fields

i-write has specialized in technical and commercial, non-literary texts and translations, in every respect. i-write has a lot of expertise in regard to the areas of ICT, HRM, psychological testing, management, education and documentary information. We would also like to mention the field of psychometrics, as i-write has acquired a lot of expertise on translating and editing test reports, assessment procedures, and course materials for a variety of tests (personality tests, competency tests) and questionnaires.
We translate and write all kinds of texts, such as webtexts, leaflets, productsheets, books, manuals, online help, and technical documentation.

Multilingual background

The translations and texts are carried out by a near-native speaker English. Apart from having learned Italian, Dutch and French at an early age, English was Irene Venditti's first written language at (international) school, and this language has always been important to her throughout the years. That is why she qualifies as a near-native speaker and translates from Dutch to English as well as from English to Dutch for i-write, whether in British-English or American-English.
